What is BEC?

Introduction
BEC stands for Business English Certificates. It is associated with the Council of Europe's Common European Framework of reference for Languages (CEFR), and with the UK Qualifications and Curriculum Authority's National Standards for Literacy, within the National Qualifications Framework (NQF).
Why take BEC?
This exam will give you the opportunity to achieve the sufficient English proficiency needed in a working environment. Whilst preparing for BEC the candidates will improve their language knowledge, which they will then be able to use at work. This is a complete exam as it covers all four linguistic abilities: listening, speaking, reading and writing.
What is the exam like?
BEC exams are available in three levels - BEC Preliminary, BEC Vantage and BEC Higher.
How do I prepare for it?
Candidates should choose BEC Preliminary, Vantage or Higher based on their language knowledge and professional needs.
