KET stands for Key English Test. It represents the level A2 of the Council of Europe's Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
It‘s based on language used in real situations. You will develop spoken and written competences, and you’ll be able to use simple English during trips, for studying and in a work environment.
This is an pre-intermediate level exam, testing the abilities to manage everyday written and spoken communication at a basic level.
The exam has three papers. Reading & Wrting, Listening and Speaking. All papers are sent to Cambridge for marking and assessment. Two examiners accredited by Cambridge ESOL conduct the oral.
On passing the tests you will receive a certificate awarded by the University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations and a statement of results, showing how you performed in the individual papers.
IH Palermo offers self access material to prepare for all parts of the exam. IH Palermo can also give advice to all candidates and help organise large groups of candidates.
