The Cambridge CELTA (Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults) is the world's most honoured entry-level credential for teaching ESL or EFL. It is accepted throughout the world by organisations which employ English language teachers. International House Palermo offers CELTA teacher training in a four-week intensive format.

International House Palermo is the first approved Cambridge English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) - formerly known as University of Cambridge Local Examination Syndicate (UCLES) centre in Sicily.

It has been offering the internationally recognised CELTA programme since 2002 and has the most cost-effective CELTA training in Southern Italy.
