Having been through a wide variety of Italian language instruction, I didn't know what to expect from IH Palermo. What a surprise! Their standards for teaching and teachers are at the highest level. A solid teaching method with well-prepared, intelligent, caring teachers: all of the mother tongue, of course. The classes are both structured and spontaneously fun, and IHPalermo is the classic case of getting as much of something as you choose to put into it. I'm learning the Italian language, while also learning a great deal about modern Italian literature as well as the culture of the Italy's hippest city: Palermo. If you are thinking of studying Italian, International House is easily the best option.
